Maternity clothes? i keep trying to wear my pre-pregnancy tops, but lets be honest it's not a good look.

Sleep: depends on the night- mostly good.
Best moment(s) this week: starting to get the "nursery" ready.
Miss Anything? comfort.
Movement: to the point of pain :(
Food cravings: chocolate.
Anything making you queasy or sick: eating too much, eating too fast, mornings.
Gender: baby boy.
Labor Signs: none.
Symptoms: back pain, rib pain, nausea, exhaustion, braxton hicks, heartburn
Belly Button in or out? in and sore, but i'm not convinced that it will ever completely "pop"
Wedding rings on or off? on most days. i do take it off if my fingers start to swell so it does't get stuck.
Happy or Moody most of the time: happy and excited.
Looking forward to: midwife appointment this week and hearing that everything is fine and on schedule.

Week 28

Maternity clothes? for sure- and i got some yoga pants this week. what rock had i been living under that i have NEVER owned a pair?!.
Stretch marks? not yet.
Sleep: this week was rough, but i did get a decent night's sleep on saturday.
Best moment(s) this week: passing my glucose test with flying colors and enjoying every single last sip of my celebratory milkshake.
Miss Anything? not having to pee at least once an hour.
Movement: all the time and all over the place.
Food cravings: now that i've had my burger and milkshake, i feel pretty content.
Anything making you queasy or sick: waking up and evenings.
Gender: baby boy.
Labor Signs: nothing yet.
Symptoms: back pain, rib pain, nausea, exhaustion.
Belly Button in or out? in for now.
Wedding rings on or off? on-and i check everyday to make sure i can still get them off.
Happy or Moody most of the time: despite being sleep deprived, this week has been happy.
Looking forward to: going out to dinner for valentines day..

Week 27

Total weight gain/loss: 23lbs+ (yes that's right.. i ate an entire carton of girl scout cookie ice cream BY MYSELF and didn't gain an ounce)
Maternity clothes? oh yeah.

Sleep: not as much as i feel like i need. apparently that exhaustion i was supposed to have in the 1st trimester has caught up to me now that i'm rolling into the 3rd.
Best moment(s) this week: pigging out with my darling husband during the superbowl
Miss Anything? other than comfort, not so much..
Movement: all the time and all over the place.
Food cravings: a GOOD burger, fries and a milkshake.
Anything making you queasy or sick: waking up..
Gender: baby boy.
Labor Signs: not that i know of, but i'll be honest i'm pretty clueless..
Symptoms: back pain, rib pain, nausea, exhaustion.

Happy or Moody most of the time: this week was a bit moody- the more and more uncomfortable i get the more cranky i get. go figure.
Looking forward to: hearing baby's heartbeat on thursday.

Week 26

Best moment(s) this week: getting a dresser/changing table for baby and putting away all his stuff. makes everything seem more real..
Miss Anything? being comfortable.
Movement: a coworker wanted to feel him this week and he kicked right on her hand. she jumped back and screamed as if she had been bit by a snake.
Food cravings: pizza and samoa girl scout cookie ice cream..
Anything making you queasy or sick: existing and eating.
Gender: baby boy.

Symptoms: back pain, rib pain, nausea.

Happy or Moody most of the time: happy, but a bit emotional this week..

Week 25

Best moment(s) this week: finishing our birth class and being THAT much closer to meeting our little guy.
Miss Anything? being able to sit or sleep in the same position for more than 30 minutes.
Movement: SO much movement. It has gotten to the painful point where he is in my ribs and my back.
Food cravings: pizza.
Anything making you queasy or sick: eating too much/too fast..
Have you started to show yet: pretty sure :)

Labor Signs: not really- think i was having some braxton hicks contractions while at work.
Symptoms: back pain and rib pain galone.

Sleep: here and there.
Best moment(s) this week: visiting with Mama; Eric FINALLY feeling baby kick lots and lots.
Miss Anything? stomach muscles to help me get up from sitting.
Movement: like crazy- i think he is trying to let me know he is okay after our bout of food poisoning this week, but i almost feel abused.
Food cravings: pizza.
Anything making you queasy or sick: food poisoning.
Have you started to show yet: yes.
Gender: baby boy.

Symptoms: back pain, nausea. seeing spots.

Wedding rings on or off? on with room to grow.
Happy or Moody most of the time: very happy, except the 36 hours of sick..
Looking forward to: almost being out of the 2rd trimester.

Week 23

How far along? 23 weeks.
Total weight gain/loss: 18 lbs+++; didn't weigh myself this week so I wouldn't have to see Christmas and New Years on the scale.
Maternity clothes? definitely.
Stretch marks? none.
Sleep: not great.
Best moment(s) this week: taking our first birthing class to prepare for the little one.
Miss Anything? sugary goodness- though that's a new year thing not a pregnancy thing.
Movement: often. though after the first few days of the switch to the healthier eating he did stop moving, i had a cookie and he was back in business. obviously the boy is smart and knows veggies are gross.
Food cravings: onion rings and SUGAR. oh and pizza. though I think that's just because we are eating so much healthier.
Anything making you queasy or sick: night time.
Have you started to show yet: oh yes. no hiding it now.
Gender: baby boy.
Labor Signs: none yet.
Symptoms: back pain, nausea. seeing spots.

Wedding rings on or off? one on and loose, the other off. though what kind of freak has 5 1/4 fingers normally anyway :)

Looking forward to: my mama getting here tomorrow, and hearing baby's heartbeat at the midwife appointment on Thursday.

So it's over.. I made it 365 days taking a picture every single day. It was probably one of the hardest things I've ever done. There were so many days when I wanted to quit, and just didn't want to take anymore photos (and it definitely shows in those photos). I did however learn so much. I learned about my camera, and about lighting and ways to take photographs that I probably never would have spent the time to learn otherwise. It has definitely been a valuable experience and I'm so thankful I did it; and SO thankful it's over.

It will be so nice to only have to use my camera one time a week for the next 4 months.

Week 22

Sleep: tossing and turning.
Best moment(s) this week: playing with sparklers for my 365th and final photo of the year.
Miss Anything? being able to go places alone without fear of passing out :(
Movement: yep! Eric finally felt baby this week, and you can now see movement from the outside.
Food cravings: burgers burgers and more burgers. and sweets.
Anything making you queasy or sick: i've started getting queasy every night before bed. boo.
Have you started to show yet: everyone at work was SHOCKED at how much more i was showing this week.

Best moment this week: nightly walks with Eric even though it's freezing out, I complain the whole way, and it makes me feel super sick. the company is great. and the Mormon Tabernacle Christmas Concert- AMAZING as always.
Miss Anything? feeling good. i've been feeling super awkward this week, even though i know i'm not THAT big.

Taking pictures of people is super hard for me already, but taking pictures of myself, HOLY COW it was hard. It took almost an hour to get the lighting right and the camera focused on the right parts. I had wanted to start weekly pictures from the begining but the lighting in our house is crappy, and our walls are CRAZY weird colors, and the best walls to use were yellow and then I came out looking yellow. I finally decided to buy some fabric and cover up the wall, even if I did get around to it almost 2 months later than I wanted to.

How far along? 19 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: an embarrassing 16 pounds up
Maternity clothes? pants for sure, some tops here and there, and more and more dresses.
Stretch marks? not yet.
Sleep: I've been sick this week so I've been taking cold medicine, which has been helping me sleep.
Best moment this week: feeling baby kick every afternoon. he definitely has some legs on him.
Miss Anything? the GOOD headache medicine and a painfree back.
Movement: all the time, the mostly in the afternoon.
Food cravings: burger king, though when i gave in today it was a HUGE letdown. chicken souvlaki sandwiches
Anything making you queasy or sick: standing and not eating. and yucky smells.
Have you started to show yet: yep. people have finally started asking.
Gender: it's a boy!!
Labor Signs: no- though i'll be honest, i probably wouldn't notice, i ignore any pains right now.
